What is the difference between primary and secondary infertility?

We speak of sterility or primary infertility when the couple has problems having children for the first time. On the other hand, sterility or secondary infertility refers to the inability to have children after having previously had children.

In the first case, the couple has problems having their first child and in the second case, the couple has problems having a second child, having had the first one naturally and without major complications.
